Harvest Moon / Super Moon over Lilly Bluff

Join the Dark Sky Ranger on September 29 at 8:00 p.m. to enjoy the rise
of the Full Harvest Moon over the Clear Creek Gorge viewed from the Lilly
Bluff Overlook. The Moon will also be a Super Moon and telescopes will
be available for participants to use their smart–phones to photograph the
Moon through the telescopes. This program is subject to clear sky
conditions. Please call on the day of the program to check on the status.
• When: Friday, September 29 at 8:00 p.m. (ET)
• Where: Lilly Bluff Overlook
• This is a free event. All ages are welcome to attend, but children
must be accompanied by an adult.
• Consider bringing a red–light flashlight or headlamp, and a chair for
comfortable seating.
